As part of an ongoing effort to create the most hideously overcomplicated transformable mecha possible in Doga, I built this beastie, labeled the Templar. I can't really say that it draws a lot of motif from any particular anime or game, though I rather think Escaflowne was a big influence on the finished design.
This shot shows it in flight mode, wings spread, weapons firing, and just generally looking really nifty. For the record, this is the exact same model as the humanoid mode Templar, no parts were changed out or anything. Everything that is on the model in the humanoid pic is on it here. |
